CWG will change the delhi picture

Being the capital of the country, DELHI always had something unique from other states .It's being great pleasure that COMMON WEALTH GAMES are organising in delhi.It will derive so much value to delhi in terms of employment, income, status, business, environment, tourism, and many more. Delhi will completely change before common wealth games . Today , we have news that CM okays the plan to change the colour of DTC's entire fleet before 2010 common wealth games . With the new low -floor buses in bright green (non -air conditioned) and red (air conditioned) colour , the old fleet in grass green colour is expected to make it's look more attractive. Acc. to Arvinder Singh Lovely, DTC authority wants to change DTC's image before the commmon wealth games in october next year. There is an enthusiasm among workers which has never been seen before, the idea of changing the colour has filled them with fresh energy.

DTC added another band of green to denote it's shift to an environment - friendly public transport system. Before the 2010 CWG begins, DTC will have a fresh batch of 7,000 new buses to aid it's existing fleet of around 2,000 buses.

Another news, that SHERA provided 800 crores as budget to M.C.D. and MCD ensured that all projects will be finished by time .There is an requirement of 1500 crores to finish all projects. At present 90 percent of all projects are running .

Road Project - M.C.D. decided to counstruct around 20 main roads which will be 200 meter long, connected to the staditums . They ensures that it will be finished by June before CWG.

Streetlight project- The whole delhi's streetlights will be changed as per international status . This includes expences of around 100 crores, and it will be done by march next year.

MCD decided to make parking area near Nehru Stadium and deal with Railways, PWD and DDA have to counstruct 17 under bridges and over bridges .

CWG is now connected with our nation's name and it's a question of nation's pride, so we should do our best for the effective results. For me its a responsiblity of every indian to make this event successful .
