National Games Delays. Is it just election?

Back in 2002 Jharkhand was awarded the 34th National games to be held in 2007. From then the event has been postponed 4 times till its was due on November 14 this year. The infrastructural execuses were continuously given during these postponements. And this time there is a new matter to talk about. "The assembly elections."

But is the assembly elections really an issue for the 34th National Games Jharkhand. Or is it the only matter? The 34th National games was much talked about for many a reasons. May it be political controversies, the postponements, top class infrastructure or the addition of bollywood charm in the games. But is there something we all have been missing about Jharkhand National Games? Or better say Naxal-hit Jharkhand's National Games.

Yes, Naxal hit Jharkhand. Take a look at these dates:

13th & 14th October 2009 :- Extremely Voilent 48 hours Naxal Attacks in places of Bihar and Jharkhand.

15th October 2009 :- Kalmadi announces Postponement of the 34th National games for unknown dates.

So is it really just the election's issue or also the security issues that is disturbing the IOA about the Games, and the excuses of unscheduled elections are being given just keeping in mind the attraction the low-profile state was going to recieve from the games.

No one can ignore the development the state is going to get through the games. Especially adding celebrity 'Tadka' is going to give the newly evolved infant state a chance to leave a mark at the global map. So is it why the naxal fear to the security of the National Games is not being aired?

Well no one can give the answers. But it is for sure that the People are waiting to see the connection of non-cricket games and bollywood. And who knows unknowingly the attention attracts helping hands for Jharkhand to fight against Naxalism.

After all there's always a hope!
