Let Govt run IPL, says Lalu

When a no-holds-barred attack was unleashed in the Lok Sabha on Monday against Indian Premier League, former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad led from the front. He sought IPL and even the BCCI to be scrapped.

Before anyone else could point out, Lalu, claimed he was demanding so despite being president of Bihar Cricket Association.

Despite his association with cricket, he felt that T20 was vulgar display of wealth. Lalu's remedy to clear the cricketing mess was to let the govt run the show instead of BCCI.
