  1. well may be i am wrong but he raised the fact that sports is a luxury good but i consider it to be a neccesity good as now i days it is almost impossible to survive without any sport
Actually, physical fitness is essential for proficiency in studies and for winning distinctions in examinations. Ailing bodies do not make for sharp brains. Exercise in some form or another is necessary, and sports provide an easy method to ensure such fitness.

  2. dear....
i agree that sports shud be a neccesity gud bt ....luxary word comes in when ur demand increases with the proficiency in that particular sport....
    hmmmmm
let me give u an example..like
a small kid will need a bat n ball to play..no matter the quality bt as he grows up things changes, condition doesnt remain the same every1 one wants the best ....and every person is not in a condition to provide them with all those goods ....all those facilities n many more...
so may be this was the reason that he said it as a luxury good

  3. thanx but i m still confused that if the purchasing the bat starts from the childhood then it means that now he has a habit of purchasing it and the law of demand fails where the habit of the consumer prevails.
